Cirulon Infinite 11-Inch Open Skillet

This is a perfect size pan., (What's this?) I have been really enjoying cooking in this pan ever since I got it. To me it is a perfect size pan with perfect depth, that is to say it is not too shallow nor too deep. I cook all the time for my family of 4 with 2 little boys. You do not need much oil and cooking is so easy with this pan. Cleaning is super easy as well. I have found a glass cover from my previous pan (I have gone through quite a lot of pans in past years because of cooking all the time) which fits this new pan perfectly and with that I can almost cook everything now. So it might be a little bit problem for you since it does not come with a matching cover. Nevertheless all I can say is I love this pan.
skillet #2, (What's this?) After purchacing the 8" @ 10" skillets, my wife demanded that I buy the 12" pan from Circulon.
Not the best pan for me, (What's this?) I bought this pan because of all the excellent reviews, but I don't reach for it much. It's a nice pan, heavy, very non-stick, would be excellent for low fat diets/cooking. My guess is with the reviews of under 3 stars, they probably used oil or butter in it rendering it un-usable. The directions clearly state NOT to use butter or oil. That's where my biggest issue comes in as I eat low carb and can have butter and oil, but I can't if I use this pan and want to keep it nice. So, I've tried some eggs, they slide right out of the pan with no effort what so ever, but to me, without the added butter taste, they were kinda bland. Don't really have an interest in sauteeing veggies without butter or olive oil, so that's out. The pan's rather small, thought it would be larger, so can only cook small amounts in it. I've used it about 4 times, once it was too small so what I was cooking was going over the edge when I was gently stirring it, and once, out of 4 times, the handle got hot (wasn't over another lit burner or anything). The other 3 times the handle was fine. It really is a nice little pan if you are trying to remove some fat from your diet, it's just not for me.
Nothing sticks!, (What's this?) I prefer a stainless steel skillet but there are just some things that cook a lot better in a non-stick pan. This would be the pan I would choose for eggs. I use a little oil or butter otherwise food seems to come out to dry for my liking. I stay away from the sprays as Cirulon recommends and all is good, easy clean up too.
Worth every penny, (What's this?) These are fabulous! Really and truly dishwasher safe. I waited a month before reviewing since my last 'dishwasher safe' nonstick pans only made a dozen cycles through the dishwasher before flaking. These look good as new. I use at least one pan every day, and have never hand washed it. So nice to have a product do what it claims. I liked the 8" size so much I bought two more. I plan to slowly replace all my pans with these - that's how great they are.
awesome pan, (What's this?) This review is for the infinite, 8" skillet.

I swore off all non-stick pans ages ago after realizing I was eating eggs sprinkled with chemical teflon flakes. I finally broke down to get something non-stick and small after breaking the 100th fried egg in an all-clad 6" stainless steel skillet (which are top of the line pans).

Pan received, immediately washed with soap, water and then....the tests!

Test 1: Put pan on stove, gas, moderate heat, broke one egg in pan, no oil, no nothing, salt, pepper. Used a plastic spatula to flip and on purpose was not careful, either cracking the egg or flipping. Another minute on other side and simply "slid" the egg from the pan to plate. Surprise! Egg was perfect over easy, Not broken at all, not even a risk of breakage, evenly cooked, white done, yolk "yolky", exactly as you'd get from your favorite greasy spoon, but....without the grease. Wow.

Test 2: I pre-make frozen hamburger patties with 93% lean and pre-spiced. 93% lean is notorious to be dry but it can make a super tasy, juicy burger if cooked right. I used super high lean to avoid the fat of burgers.
Best skillet I've owned, (What's this?) These Circulon skillets cook beautifully and cleanup is very easy. I own cookware in Todd English's GreenPan line, and while those pans and stockpots are ok, the skillets are hopeless. Cheese and eggs always stuck, and even cooking meat was a pain when it came to cleanup. Cooking steaks in stainless steel was easier. Once I tried these Circulon skillets, I got rid of the GreenPans. Cheese and eggs slide right out. Cleanup is literally with a damp rag, though I usually wash them. Recommended.
Best 11" frying pan, (What's this?) I love this. Great nonstick. dish-washable, even heating, scratch resistant. My only complaint is the Circulon doesn't offer a cover and I had a heck of a time locating a good glass cover.
Won't Stick To Your Head, (What's this?) The Circulon stuff just gets better and better. I've had a couple of the cheaper Contempo model fry pans for the past year and they have been amazing. Never thought I could get great performance out of what seem like thin pans, but they cook even and the Circulon non-stick is incredible. An under-appreciated aspect of the Circulon is that these things are so damn easy to clean. I've had the Infinite pan for a day and already cooked two meals in it. The non-stick is on the outside of these as well, making them even easier to clean. The handle looks to be oven safe as well, with a nice brushed finish. But the bottom of this Infinite pan is special. The thick, heavy, and flat, polished stainless base makes this pan rock solid. It cooks more evenly, like a good ol' iron skillet, but it also takes a lot more flame on my glass top stove to get up to temp.
8" skillet, (What's this?) I wanted a skillet for eggs so they cook well and do not stick. This skillet is great! Heavy, yet easy to clean. I have a circulon pancake griddle, both are good products.
